Piece commissioned for temporary installation at Symphony Hall in Salt Lake City. Ten Douglas Fir beams were repurposed, and each timber was received ten notches. The one hundred pieces removed were used to create a crate of time. Collection of Rowland Hall-St. Marks School, Salt Lake City

Basic Musician's Carriage with the shields that don't work

The Musician's Carriage was created from the repurposed timbers used in the Symphony Hall installation. Using joinery techniques adapted from Japanese shrine builders, the carriage is a place for composing one's self.
